Leigh Nofi, Senior Account
Executive for S.I.R. Marketing Communications, Inc., joined
the agency in November of 1999. Prior to joining S.I.R.
Marketing Communications, Leigh was the Managing Editor
for Studio Photography & Design magazine. Leigh's
background as a respected journalist with nearly 12 years
of experience in the photo imaging trade and professional
publishing industries is as much an asset for the clients
she represents as well as the media she works with.
Leigh graduated at the top of her college class and
received her BA degree in Journalism from the State University
of New York, New Paltz, in the summer of 1993 after completing
a six-month internship at The Legislative Gazette in Albany,
NY. As a reporter for The Gazette, Leigh covered various
political issues such as women's rights, social services
and judiciary.
She began her career in the photo industry in 1994 as
Assistant Editor of Photo Trade News, and was quickly
promoted later that same year to Managing Editor of Photo
Trade News. In order to diversify her experience and understanding
of the imaging industry, Leigh became Associate Editor
of Advanced Imaging magazine, while remaining Managing
Editor of Photo Trade News, and then moved on to Managing
Editor of Studio Photography & Design in 1998. Leigh
also served as Managing Editor in 1998 and 1999 for the
Custom Publishing Division of Cygnus Publishing in New
York catering to clients in the photo imaging industry.
Leigh is also an accomplished photographer specializing
in nature, landscape and travel photography. Her work
is regularly published in numerous trade and consumer
publications as well as several advertising supplements
and Web publishing projects. Click
